I have a question. I have a 1921 Peace dollar. What ballpark grade do you think this would be? I'm having a hard time determining if I should have it graded. I know some of these weren't struck very well. I'm not sure if it's xf, au or even ms. Thanks for the help.

Most of them were poorly struck in the central devices. I grade this one AU53, but it looks unnaturally bright, like it suffers from an old wipe.

I would say XF45-AU50. Nice but probably not worth the grading fees. Slabbed it's $115 or so, raw probably $85 so I wouldn't spend the money to grade it.

I agree with the AU grade. Not the best strike in the central area of the obverse. Like most Peace dollars.
Unless your pictures are hiding something, the fields look relatively clean and free of any bag marks.
It's a key date coin, so I would say slab it to have it graded and protect it.
    It's a keeper!!

AU 53. It may merit grading fees.

IMO those prices are what I would buy at, thinking it would sell for $150ish.

Same here. It is a bit bright. I would just hang on to it for a few years and see how it looks. It's going to be a waste if it comes back with a details grade.
With that said, still a nice coin to own.

AU-AU+. Surfaces do look a little iffy, but could just be the light.

Thank you everyone for your input and time. I think now I will have it graded.

This makes me think about an old friend. He was always saying he would buy any 21.

Again I want to thank everyone for their time. I have one last question. Is it common for reverse doubling on this year Peace dollar? Or is that a question for a different forum?

The high relief coin is often not well struck at the central high points. Your coin could be AU to MS. I can't distinguish wear from soft strike in your photo. Here is a 21 that got MS64 by NGC:
