Can someone tell me about this dime? Broadstrike?

Hi, everyone. I'm new to collecting and quickly becoming addicted. So far the most frustrating thing is knowing the difference between an actual error and a coin that was manipulated after mint. If anyone could help me with this piece I found tonight I would appreciate it, any advice helps. Thank you!

Your Dime is PMD - Post (after it left the Mint) Mint Damage
Looks like it was put on a grinder. Why? Good question. Bored kid, angry person, a jokester.
    Not an error

Definitely PMD. If the edge is all silvery, at least it's worth a dollar in silver.
