Ive recently been coin hunting first time..been doing it about a month actually...can anyone tell me what the worth of 82 and 83 p&d quarters ?

Its in great condition..with plastic coating on it and what i dont understand is why its gild on the back but the front looks like a normal state quarter ?
Given that it's gilded I'd say you're looking at 25 cents a coin. Most coin collectors will NOT buy that sort of stuff, which leaves you to the tender mercies of coin dealers, who, given that collectors don't want it, will offer you face value or MAYBE a little bit more. Also, State quarters were NOT made in 1982 & 1983, SO you either have STATE quarters dated some other date(s), OR regular 1982 & 1983 quarters.
