My First Coin Photo

    Well, I went the expensive route and instead of buying a $100 computer microscope, I bought a $225 macro lens for my Canon 10D. I did this because my other hobby is photography. I unpacked the lens, and 5 minutes later had this phot of a 2007 ASE.

    the 2007 ASE is a nearly perfect coin, and easy to photograph. Nice work.

    Nice photo, really shows the details. One of my other hobbies is photography as well.

    Thanks folks. Codydude inspired me. I'm experimenting with various methods on other coins right now. I'll post a few good ones if I get them. I started a Barber Dime collection a few months back. I don't have anything earthshaking in it and I really can't afford to go the MS route with those, but if I get some good shots, I'll post them.
