Well, count me out for this year for sure. I have no camera or cellphone and also live in Canada, but with a US address because I have so many appointments with the VA there. I'll watch from the sidelines.

Thank you, Bill for your service and I'm sorry that photos are one of the things that are important for this. You can, however, go and put in your name in LordMarcovan's 12 days of Christmas and maybe get a coin you want. No pics required from you on that!

 

It's Black Friday and that means instead of just going to the store and spending all your paper currency, stop for a moment and enter for this years Secret Santa. It's a CoinTalk Secret Santa. So few rules, but so much enjoyment at Christmas time!!!


Tomorrow is the Sign Up Deadline, and you will all then have your recipient's name by Dec 5th at the latest! Then you can figure out what coin gift your recipient would like from a Secret Santa and get that into the mail stream!!! Also, don't forget to let me know when you mail and give me a tracking number for it if it is applicable!

 

One more day for the deadline.

 

In case you did not notice, today is November 30, and that means it's the deadline for getting me your name and address via PM and getting in on 2024's Secret Santa. I can't say enough about how, when another 3 to 3 1/2 weeks pass by, you will be glad you did so, so don't miss out!

I have started to send out recipient names to the Secret Santas. If you don't get one for a while, don't worry.

 

I'm trying to do the same. I don't know my recipient , so this will be interesting.
Maybe they have a Gallery perhaps??

 

I like to go through their posts using the search tool. It's a good way to see what they are actively collecting or have an interest in.

 

That's so generous!! Without revealing my recipient, I plan on doing a "smorgasbord" of coins!

 

I may need to do the same. My recipient isn't someone I know and there posts don't help me much. Hope they like a surpise

 

Sometimes people can get a recipient where it seems it is really difficult to pin down what would really rock his/her world in a Secret Santa gift here, but the most important thing is to know we all love coins and there is so much to share with a coin gift. Sometimes even gifting a coin or coins you find attractive and think the other will appreciate in any way is a good thing. So don't stress.

 

Everyone should now have their SS recipient and the clock is ticking, so....


1) have fun finding out what your recipient would like (peruse their posts to see what they are all about),

2) have fun getting and gifting

3) let me know when you have sent it and when it is set to arrive, with tracking number if applicable

4) dream of what you might get

5) receive your gift from your SS

6) see if you can wait until Christmas to open your SS gift

7) once you open it, experience the joy!!!!

8) take pics and post on here both to thank your SS and to let all of us also enjoy
what you got!
