I made a script with the help of someone else online to make a calculator to calculate Asian years. I've put in some simple illustrations to help those who have no idea of the differences between them - hopefully it will be of use to someone smile.gif

Design is a bit ugly but the calculator should be working fine - I have tried to wreck it a few hundred times by now.

    Excellent resource!

I tried tripping it up, and couldn't. It even recognizes the overlap of common era years when one Japanese era ends and the next begins.

Next step is to provide conversion calculators for K'ang-Te, Ta-T'ung, and the other WW II Occupied China dynasties and systems.

    hontonai - many thanks.

I would actually make a conversion calculators for such eras but I wasn't too sure of their dating and hence backed off meanwhile as I don't have any examples other than a Xinjiang example that I have.
