You said nothing about condition of color in your original question, so it was answered with the understanding that your coin could be road rash or a superb gem. If there was any scenario in which your coin could've been something other than what I said (very common), I would have mentioned it for the sake of clarity. I realize that many new to this hobby wish to hold desperately onto the idea that some coin may be worth something, but this simply isn't the case here. Again, filled mintmarks are very common and no amount of spinning will change this. If you cannot accept this reality, feel free to start another thread of your own and post photos of the coin, but when told the same thing by others, please accept it as truth.

Sounds like a die chip in the mint mark but hard to tell without pictures. If it is a die chip it does not have additional value over 1 cent.
