Just came in the mail today and I saw the spot the second I opened the box. What should I do? Can it be returned? $500 bucks for a spot?
$500? Is this a screaming deal on the gold commem, or a ridiculous premium for an ASE? If I could get a half-ounce of gold for $100 below spot, I'd be willing to overlook a lot more blemishes than that...
Ouch... Call them and ask to exchange it, plus since it clearly should not have passed QA you want them to pay the return shipping. Or at least credit you for the drop in price due to the decrease in gold's price. I doubt you'll get it the shipping refund, but you should try.
