    At least you're not losing your eyesight. I did a double-take because I thought you said your dog nabbed it, and then I wondered, why in the heck would the dog do that.

    Are coins like these worth keeping? Are they worth anything over face value? Just curious, ive come across a few my self. Thanks

    It's one of the foregoing, but not the second two. Why don't you read about them, first, save yourself some time? My eyes are starting to hurt.

    Not really worth anything over face value as they are neither errors nor varieties, just the result of not maintaining equipment properly and worn dies. Extreme machine doubling can be interesting, but again, not worth anything unless you enjoy collecting them. If you are new to this it's always a good idea to put one of each series aside for future reference until you better know the coin making process.

    Ok thanks for the info, much appreciated. Trying to read and learn as much as possible. Others experience and opinions help a lot as well.
