    I dont see why it would cost more to make a $20 then a $5 ? if it did give a reason in the video i missed it, computer was loading up. :(

    Thanks for sharing the video BTM. I had no idea we were losing money on pennies and nickels.

    As far as @Ed23's comment about printing money out of thin air...... approximately 95% of currency printed is to replace worn out paper currency already in circulation.

    I don't want to hijack BTM's thread, so the last response I'll make on this subject is; currently, there are ZERO countries that 100% back their paper currency with precious metal. ZERO, NONE,NOT ANY,NOT ONE

    The point is ALL OF THEM DID at some point in their past, including the United States of America.

    OK, back to regularly scheduled topic.

    All the paper currency, except the $1 and the $100, costs about a dime each to print. When you think about all the labor, materials, and security features involved it sounds like a bargain.
