I dont see why it would cost more to make a $20 then a $5 ? if it did give a reason in the video i missed it, computer was loading up.
Thanks for sharing the video BTM. I had no idea we were losing money on pennies and nickels. As far as @Ed23's comment about printing money out of thin air...... approximately 95% of currency printed is to replace worn out paper currency already in circulation.
I don't want to hijack BTM's thread, so the last response I'll make on this subject is; currently, there are ZERO countries that 100% back their paper currency with precious metal. ZERO, NONE,NOT ANY,NOT ONE
OK, back to regularly scheduled topic. All the paper currency, except the $1 and the $100, costs about a dime each to print. When you think about all the labor, materials, and security features involved it sounds like a bargain.
