Interesting 2023 Shield Cent Minted in Philadelphia/MS/Missing detail

    I've found this beautiful 2023 Shield Cent in a new roll. Either the die was worn or it was struck thru cloth or grease. I haven't seen any more like this so what do you all think? Below are some up-close coin microscope photos.

    It's called Die Deterioration. A simple worn die strike.

    You should always include a full picture of the obverse and the reverse of the coin.

    Full pics of both sides are much more helpful. In this case it looks like a worn die minted it.
