It looks like brass and is 30 mm in diameter with the same two characters on both sides. The edge is reeded like a coin and is die stuck. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike
It's not a washer due to the reeded edge and the fact that it's too well made. Washers are made on a punchpress and have different looking sides. The characters are struck into it not just printed or engraved on it. I didn't think it was a coin but token or medal of some type. Anyway, thanks for your opinions.
Just as a background sir, but cash coins, like this one I believe is resembling, never had reeded edges. Just another indication this was probably not a coin but something else. It may very well have been mass produced for some reason, I just do not believe that reason was coinage.
