Hey guys, once again, I have this mughal coin from (I expect) the time of babur, because of that star. The only thing is that all the coins of babur with that star have it on the left side, while mine is on the right. And the writing under the star and above it is different. The obverse is normal with the writing and the date (which in this case is half printed, "DAMN") I can make out the 93.. but the last number seems like a half inverted V which translates to 8, making the date 938AH (which is the reign of baburs son humayun).

So i am totally stoked on this one, as i havent seen that star on a humayun coin on the internet archives.

    HELP

Sorry, the Mughals are a bit to late for my collection area, so i do not know much about them. When asking for attribution help in Indian coins it is crucial to also indicate size and weight !
Be carefull with this coin. The shiny copper shows it is chemically overcleaned. The green stuff in the center looks like active "bronze disease". If this is powdery and comes of easily you should treat this coin to stop this, otherwise it will spread and damage your coin severely over time.

If it is stable then better nothing. Just store it in a dry place and check once in a while if it does not deteriorate.
