Silver dime found crh

Found this baby in a bankroll of dimes also found a 1962 roosie today not pictured...Dont usually go with dimes but the bank is cutting me back on my penny and nickel intake so I guess its worth it to switch it up a bit

I hope Silver Searcher does not find out about this. He would buy all the Dime rolls at the 50+ banks near him... He recently went to 50+ banks for all of their Kennedy Halves.. on a Sunday!

Nice find. If you want to find more get a decent metal detector and you will find the mercs and buffalos.

 

That's a good idea but it depends on the type of metal detector and where you detect. In the 6 years of detecting I have only found about 10 Silver US coins and 2 Buffalo Nickels. NYC is a tough place to detect.

 

You know where there is a lot of silver; The NY. Botanical Gardens, Pelham Pkwy and Mosholu Pkwy, all in the Bronx. I used to find a lot in those places.
