    First, welcome to the neighborhood!

This thread is 5 years old, and some people might just ignore your post. It would be better if you started your own thread in the "Error Coins" forum and include good close-up photos of the suspected doubling.

FWIW, a doubled die (DDO) is not the same as a double strike, and you should capitalize the "S" representing the mintmark instead of using a small "s" which suggests plurality..........1969S rather than 1969s.

Thank you Chris, I rarely join sites online but some coins are hard to get the right info on. I appreciate the tips. IMG_20161124_174726.jpg IMG_20161124_175626.jpg IMG_20161124_175852.jpg IMG_20161124_175626.jpg IMG_20161124_174726.jpg

Hi there, I know this is old post but wondering if anybody figured out the 2007 Lincoln cent error? I have recently found one in MS condition and it fits the description that ( Kimandbrad21) had posted.
    Any news would be great!

    Hola Rafael
You really should start your own unique thread. Show pictures of your Steel Cents showing the different weights.

    Michael, welcome to CT!

This thread was started Dec. 22, 2011 & last previous post was Sep. 2017, so not many are going to look at this.

Additionally, you are introducing an entirely new coin & subject. You really need to start your own thread & you will find you will get insightful responses.

Hey, @Tiffany Harrelson see my post above about posting pictures, although it sounds like what you are describing is the damage left by a coin rolling machine as the ends are sealed and the tool touches the coin.

Hi @Tiffany Harrelson , it's always good to start a new topic when you have a question. But if you could post pics that would be great.

First off welcome to the forum. While you've tried hard to give a description it's not possible to give any advice without good pics. It's very likely die deterioration doubling or mechanical doubling on the devices (letters etc.). As far as the strike being offset that's pretty common unless it's drastic. My suggestion - if you plan on searching for coin errors - is get a USB microscope, Lou
