I bought this set yesterday, does anyone know if this is an official set or one someone put together in the holder? The coins and countries have seemingly nothing in common, besides being approximately the same size. It is a 1967 south Africa rand, and a 1400 a.h. Egypt 1 pound. Usually official sets are marked like that somewhere, this one is probably a privately made thing.

I googled and got something similar but with Israel and Egypt coins.
It was on Ebay and one side states struck for peace. That's all the info I could find

That set makes more sense, the Egypt 1 pound is a commemorative of peace with Israel.

Despite Egypt's support of the African National Congress at the time, Egypt and South Africa surprisingly had diplomatic legations in each other's countries.

Maybe this was another "peace" commemorative set that celebrated the fact that the two countries were able to set aside considerable differences, and at least have a most basic form of relations with each other?
