I know it is an American holiday, but I think most people around the world can give thanks for something in their lives. And since we here in the US make such a big deal about the Thanksgiving dinner, and since I know of no ancient coins with a turkey, I thought I would post a coin with some delicious squab:
    SIKYONIA SIKYON.jpg
    SIKYONIA SIKYON
AR Hemidrachm OBVERSE: Chimaera standing left, with heads of snake, lion & goat, raising forepaw, SI below REVERSE: Dove flying left
Struck at Skyon, Fourth Century BC 2.6g, 17mm
    SNGCop 57, BMC 111
    Ex Doug Smith

Or maybe a cornucopia of food

    SINOPE, PAPHLAGONIA

OBVERSE: Winged head of young Perseus
REVERSE: SINW-PHS, cornucopiae between two pilei of the Dioskouroi, each surmounted by a star
    Struck at Sinope, 120-100 BC
    4.09g, 16mm
    SNG Cop 306, SNGvA 231, Sear 3713
    Ex JAZ Numismatics

Post anything you feel you can relate to Thanksgiving

Best part of the holiday is the wine and turkey, in my honest opinion.

Happy thanksgiving to all my north american friends. As you know we don't "do" thanksgiving here, but we do appreciate frogs legs : strange people, strange habits :)

Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to all CoinTalk members! Our shared appreciation of ancient coins is a blessing for which we are thankful. The cornucopia is a great symbol of the holiday.
