I am moderately thick skinned and not too opinionated that my ideas or opinion is the ultimate. I'm not sure what exactly in THIS thread was the straw that broke the camel's back and am not willing to look at the OP's other threads.
I can totally blame the OP. Posting a picture of a hohum coin and telling us that it is a small date zink (sic) cent. "OK, thanks?". No question raised, no discussion points raised, no nothing. I assume a 36 year old should know that doing such a thing is pointless, useless, etc. He gets offended by my snark? Get real.
The fact that you think behavior like that is ever appropriate is the problem. You don't have to be patient with new collectors, but if you choose not to be, please just stay out of their threads. Yeah, this guy was probably not salvageable, but you just gave him something other than himself to blame.
