    bought this one of a kind coin from sincona auction/ unlike the athenian owl 500k known/ this coin is unique.

    What does "fr. 219 var" mean? Is this a slight variant of a more common coin?

    Excellent condition for a 400+-year-old coin of only one specimen known. I think you have a winner there.

    Just got home from work/ trimmed hedges all day.
    The Fr. 219 var. (no idea) Friedberg does list one type from Camilo with different reverse/ shield instead of Virgin Mary. Most of the few gold coins known from this Count are with shield rev. and few with Him ruling with Brother. This example sold NAC auction/ way different 11806391.jpg
