This note is quite rare, apologies for the condition. Not many were made, and excepting the 1958 printing - most worked to death. Three companies printed notes in colonial Namibia - Standard Bank SA, Barclays DCO & Volkskas Ltd. All are pricey, and Volkskas was the smallest company involved (only 165000 notes). The SA pound also circulated - these are almost cheap! Any other members with examples from the region? It's quite 'niche' I fear.
No apologies necessary! Many notes from colonial Africa are super tough to find in decent condition (due to their humid weather & workhorse function). Any note (in any condition) is a huge achievement for some of the more obscure issues (like yours). Its nice to get one with acceptable eye appeal (honest wear- no major issues) like your example. Here's the BNM link for the Volkskas Limited One Pound note (P-14). Thanks for sharing.
Lightly connected with the OP, here is a recent Windhoek skyline photo. Seventy years have made some changes.. Only the Church is still an obvious connection with the past.
