A nice looking 1804 Half Cent. A little grainy but still on the glossy side. A number of varieties exist but this is the Plain 4, Stemless variety, in Fine condition. Slightly dark but no marks and evenly toned.

The die variety is 1804 Cohen 13. It is probably the most common half cent variety. The reverse die, without the stems, survived to make the most die varieties in 1805 and 1806. It was really tough as nails die.
