Books - you were wondering in stead of educating? That coin was one of the worst example of a true 3 legged Buff I've ever seen - why would you wait to throw your opinion into the arena? I took you as a better person of knowledge than that!

The only thing they got right was the die chip under the beard.

It's a pretty clear identifier in this case, and the OP seems to have realized this on his own. He deserves full credit.

I have built a pretty good relationship with the manager of the Pawn shop. I plan on being there in the morning to let him know that he has a bunch of fakes for sale. I hope he understands and pulls them off the shelf.

 

Sorry Books - We are planning a 0-16 parade for the Browns, and yes, Indians can not overcome a 3-1 lead ever - it just seems sometimes you are good dude then you turn mean. Just my observation. and others have said so - I just read 'em, sorry if I pissed in your Cheerios tonight!!

Oh, and I would recommend @Pickin and Grinin you inform the seller they are selling a counterfeit.

 

I personally would return all of these to the shop,ask for a refund . ....afterwards inform the shop owner that if spotted for sale again you'll inform the local police department .
That's what I would do....who knows how long this practice has been going on..... and if the owner don't know the difference he (they) shouldn't be selling items as such.

 

For a small fee I'll let you peek at it at the next coin show!
