1/4 kreuzer ID

    I know it has been punched through, but I would like to identify it.
    It must be austrian 1871, But it has letter "N" below the yearand that is not listed.
    Any input appreciated.

    It should be one of these, but there is no N or H option listed there, and Two parallel vertical lines are visible clearly.

    Whoops! I think we're at the point where we aren't asking where the coin came from, but what the two vertical lines are. Are you sure they are clearly punched and not corrosion?

    I cannot be sure, but when I wipe it, it shows rather clearly that those are struck lines, the middle is not(between the lines) it remains a black iregular tiny smudge.
    The guy I bought it from said he found it in the field

    Well, let's get some measurements. Diameter and weight if you can?

    It definately looks like " N ."
    Weight:1.84 gr
    Diameter:18.3mm
    Have you noticed too much space between 17 and 81?
