Bought this coin from a little old lady who had had it for 50 years she doesn't strike me as the type of person to AT a coin. Why would she. And when was I condescending.
Seemed to me I paid him a compliment.
After he called my coin highly unattractive.
I love coin talk some of you guys make my day when you get all fired up over things. You have the right to feel passionately as do I SMB

You don't know who had the coin previously, and more importantly, sometimes AT/market unacceptable toning can be caused accidentally. For instance, I pointed to the sheen as a sign of a possible cleaning. It is possible to be caused by whatever agents were involved.

I still stick with AU details. At $10, no one is going to complain.

The value you gave to purchase this specimen was well worth it . But.....I'm afraid I too believe that this coin is AT! It's not album toning. There's always a argument in here over what is and what isn't natural tone on a coin.
If you compare the color and surfaces of yours to Greens you'll notice a big difference between the two .
From a collector of over 50 years a tad bit of advice....
We all are human, we all make mistakes , there's not one collector in here who hasn't made a bad purchase at one point in their hobby life. And if they say they haven't they are lying!
Lastly you're the only one who needs to be pleased with this specimen . Who cares if others are or aren't !

This is what alot of toned, original skin Columbians look like. (W bad lighting) IMAG1529_1.jpg IMAG1524_1.jpg Although I did spy a semi PL , w magenta and sunset yellow predominantly one time, I'm still kicking myself over that one
