I'm trying to find information about this token, anyone know anything about it? Ebay sellers say it's from 1850's and some say it's made of Silver, anyone know? They normally sell for top dollar over $100, I have the book below but I don't see it. Btw it's a great book but I don't see it, if it's actually in there let me know where, no need to scold me. 112.gif Any token collectors out there know anything about it? Just wondering, I'm bidding on the one below! :D

Just curious... if you don't know anything about it, why would you bid on it?

I also don't know anything about it.

If I had to know something about everything I buy, I'd never buy anything. I buy because it catches my eye! :shame:

Wrong one, the one I bid on is below but I'm not bidding too much longer as I have other oars in the water. :D

I found this token sorting my LWC by decade. 1864 with a clipped planchet and reverse riding a horse "The Federal Union Must Be Preserved" must buy a Token Book to find out more about it. Think it's worth more than a penny. Will try to get a better pic tomorrow. IMG_20241021_210246796_HDR.jpg IMG_20241021_210422537.jpg

Yes, it's definitely worth more than a penny, but I don't collect Civil War Tokens. You can look it up on ebay to check prices but it's gotta be in good condition to get top dollar! :cigar:

Yes, it's a Civil War Token. I believe it's pretty common but I'd check it out on the computer.

Sorry, I was so busy yesterday I didn't explain my post well. What I really meant to say was here's another example of the same token that sold ;)

Better images. I just think it's cool having been with pennies.

That’s a very nice looking Civil War Token and a good find. They probably threw it in with the pennies because of the Indian Head.
