we have a original 1943 copper penny that has a ding in the back almost a small bend. other than that its in average shape. Ive that these have sold for a million dollars but how much will the ding drop the value?

The chance of that being real are less that winning the megabucks lottery twice. Even assuming it could possibly be real, a ding on a circulated coin would drop its value ~$980,000. Before you go much further, see if a magnet attracts it. If it does, someone has coated a steel coin.
