My old "Twelve Caesars" Roman collection

In 2013, I did another big purge and sold off pretty much all of my old collections, rolling them into the present "Eclectic Box of 20" which I am gradually reposting over here.

Here is my old thread about the Twelve Caesars set, as it appeared on Collectors Universe prior to 2013.

The coins are sold now and their proceeds rolled into the new collection, but I thought some of you might want to look at my last project. It was fun while it lasted.

(You will, however, notice that two successive software changes on the other site wrecked much of the formatting, and that collection was built at a time I was not so finicky about photography. But there 'tis, anyway.)

Three of those now live in my collection (without the plastic coffins) one came my way but I sold it and another went from me to you.

And @Aethelred , I just reposted that last coin you alluded to (your onetime "signature" namesake piece, the Aethelred penny), over here, on the CT World Coins forum. I wouldn't say it has become MY signature coin (since I've long been an eclectic jack-of-all-trades I'm not sure that's possible for me), but it's certainly in my Top Five at present.

LordM, I was actually talking about the Tiberius Denarius that I sold to you after I upgraded, not the Aethelred II Penny.

You actually sold me TWO Tiberius "Tribute Penny" denarii, very similar to one another. The first was in my old 2007-08 collection, and then there was the one you mentioned. I liked the toning on it. It was a nice piece but looked pretty awful in the picture. (Sorry- they were your pictures I used).
