In the past, I have typically used Dansco albums...but I have never really looked into Intercept Shield albums but I know they make really nice coin holders. I was considering picking up an album but wanted to hear people's opinions about the two brands. How do the IS albums compare in quality to Dansco? Also, is either better when it comes to coin storage (preventing toning) from a materials standpoint?
Intercept Shield is in a class of its' own (with one other, linked below) from a protection standpoint; a Dansco is essentially the same as raw out in the atmosphere. Never heard a single bad word about the quality of the Intercept Shield design. If protection is a priority for you, have a look here: http://www.capsalbums.com/
My lincolns and indian head cents are in intercept shield albums. Not bad. The plastic protective slips can be a pain to pull in and out but overall, I cant complain. Personally, I have stopped using albums all togethor (unless I can get my hands on a 7070 for a decent price) and just put my raws in world premier holders.
Are there quality albums that have a section for pennies , nickels, dimes etc or do you have to purchase individual albums for each type of coin. I know that would be a huge album but is there anything like it?
