My quest for FEL TEMP Hut coins continues, having now moved on to focus on the Constantius II huts. My haste to acquire them leads to occasional mistakes such as buying two coins from the same mint. I can live with this kind of mistake though.

I now have two Constantius II Huts coins from Rome.

    Constantius II - AE2

Obv:– D N CONSTANTIVS P F AVG, Pearl diademed, draped and cuirassed bust left, holding globe (N in right field)
Rev:– FEL TEMP REPARATIO, Helmeted soldier, spear in left hand, advancing right, head left; with his right hand he leads a small bare-headed figure from a hut beneath a tree. The spear points down and to the left
    Minted in Rome (_ | N //RP).
Reference:– RIC VIII Rome 156 (Rated R)

I like the way they stuck in the reverse N in the middile of the Reparatio. It almost looks like a Z.

Damn, I keep following and agreeing with Bing:D

All three are terrific but Doug's example just jumps out on me.

    Always liked these.
Most people overlook the reign of Constantius II even though he ruled the Empire for well over 20 years and brought stability and order to it.
    Nice coins
