    I think the slab says MS-66 PL

    MS65, maybe PL, maybe DMPL, maybe too much haze in the fields to meet todays standards. Tough call from the images. Great looking '80-S regardless.

    I'm gonna say 65 DMPL. I think the photo is masking the strength of the proof effect.

    65 as for PL to hard to tell from images.

    heavycam, please explain this to me... I'd really like to learn.

    This coin has no marks on the cheek or field. Am I missing something, or are 1880-S Morgans graded that hard?

    I don't think it has enough punch, for a 65;)

    That, and I've owned PCGS 64s that looked like 65PL

    65 pl/dmpl from the pics but the pics aremt the best for guessing gem grade differences could be 64 depending on the how bad the luster breaks are

    I'm at a 65 on this one as well. I couldn't tell you PL or DMPL from the photos. Liberty and the devices look very frosty and the fields have some darkness to them, making me think they are very reflective. I would not be surprised to see 65PL.

    Here's the grading. I'll have it this weekend. I'll take some more pics. I must say I'm pretty impressed. Many of you were spot on!
