:woot: what kind of premium would YOU pay if you were looking at these Kennedys, they were in a boxed date set, and acquired some decent toning, the 1966 SMS looks cameo, PLUS, from the photos, looks like one of the DDO for the year, Doubled profile :woot: IMAG3115_1.jpg IMAG3124_1.jpg IMAG3116_1.jpg IMAG3110_1.jpg IMAG3125_1.jpg IMAG3120_1.jpg IMAG3119_1.jpg IMAG3121_1.jpg sidenote-I know this is extremely tough with crappy photos, plus cameo is hard enough, w/o the toning to read via images

I think $5 each is a reasonable value, but I agree that the photos definitely need to be improved.

This humble narrator will be even less help than @dwhiz

I don't collect Kennedys and have little to no confidence in judging how much premium, if any, a toned coin should bring.

I'm not going to stink up your poll.

Yeah. They really need to be true uber monsters with neon pop to command any significant premium. Maybe a couple dollars over blast at best.

That's what I don't understand, because , on the mega rare occasion I see true uber monsters, the asking price is uber high^^^
Brian Raines is usually asking in the $50 range for slabbed ikes and kennedys that have meh toning or just nice toning

What someone asks is one thing, and what some fool will pay is another thing altogether.;) Besides, these coins are raw.

The melt value for each is ~ $2.50 today. I do NOT do varieties, so that potential premium won't be included. I'd say none would cameo. Given that you're looking at condition of coin plus toning.

I am NOT a Kennedy guy, so someone else would be a better guide.

I'd say $10 - $15 for the '67, but, FROM THE PICTURES, just somewhere in the $3 - $5 range for the '66 and '68-D.

To be honest your images aren't the best on these . Perhaps in hand they have more eye appeal . That said on each of the 3 judging from the images,I would only go a few dollars over spot. Not saying that I don't like them just hey need more bang for the buck.

I think the real problem here is condition? I dont collect kennedys but from my experience with Eisenhower dollars condition and toning both need to be excellent to bring huge premiums out of a modern.

Seeing how they're 40% I'd try to get as close to spot as possible (unless they just look that much better in hand).

Thx guys, I just wanted to see what- if any premium was common for something like this, & I agree w the concensus...
I bought these as upgrades for my daughters Kennedy Dansco album. Talk about opening a can of worms, I'm not even halfway and ready to give up on this thing

Toning is oxidation, which is damage. No premium.
