I purchased from ebay 20 silver dimes 49 to 68. I paid in total 20.58 including shipping etc. Well I expected the usual dirty old silver dimes, which is what we usually find. Instead I got some amazing dimes! All were great shape and at least 5 of them are BU and then there was this 1962 ;)

Does anyone know how much this baby would go for?
I found one on an ebay site stating approx. cost of 359.83 but couldn't find much else.

I tried to do my best with the pics

if you paid ~$20.50 CAD, or ~$19.70 USD for the lot, that's an excellent value. Look at the condition of that coin, it really makes up for the $4.30 USD above-spot premium you've paid for the coins.

I used http://www.coinflation.com/canada to judge this, btw.

Is that 2 pictures of the same coin or 2 different coins? Also, is the rim really as damaged as it appears in the bottom picture?

if the rim isn't bent, I think you could sell that coin for $25-35 USD. I'd pay $20 immediately.

Canadian coins all seem like a bargain compared to their US counterparts.

    From CCN trends 1959 - 64 10¢ MS-63 - $2.00. MS-64 - $6.00, MS- 65 - $20.00. This is kind of an average, the 59 & 60 are about a dollar more in MS-63 & 64.

    Prices in Canadian dollars.

    1962 10¢
    PL 64 cameo $10.00
    PL 64 heavy cameo $22.00
    PL 65 cameo $20.00
    PL 65 heavy cameo $35.00

Sure looks like a good buy for that price.

They are very cheap here and if you know good places then you can even buy them for under list price. I have bought so many coins here which are worth in some cases as much as 2 times what I paid for them.

    Good find! Very appealing cameo.

I recently sold off a few rolls of similar quality 10c on eBay and I barely hit the price of silver. :eek:hya:
