It's a lot of money, and the SLQ went nowhere thanks to the initial household limit. But limit 3 / 70000 is closer to the limit 10 / 250000 of the dime, which did sell out quickly. I don't know what to expect. I don't even know whether I'm going to buy.
It took me 5 minutes to put in my order so there is some demand. Just need to wait for the email confirming that the order went through with no issues. I called my cc company this morning so that they knew I was buying a high price item & not to decline because they the system might flag as fraudulent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got the card loaded, CC info set up, and couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. Again, we'll see what happens.
I'm in for 1...They should be nice coins and will sell out soon enough, but no major flippers. 9:05 order USM04641xxx
I'm not interested in them so it will take a wee bit longer but eventually they will sell out. Don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen.
just ordered. USM04661xxx Predict a modest number of sales. No question this will be the "key" to the 3-coin 2016 renaissance set.
I think a sell-out is possible -- especially if the Mint continues selling for at least a year. Sub-$1100/oz gold would help too.
They may sell out but they are in direct competion with the Christmas season. A miserable time to release them IMO.
By definition everything sells out at some point, will the half reach its mintage I do not believe so
Not sure about that. I would not call having product still available at the end of a sales period a "sell out" even though it is no longer for sale. (That's "No longer available" not "Sold out".) On the other hand when the product completely runs out before the ordering period does is definitely a sell out.
My vote is that it will sell out but not because I purchase one (although I did think about it briefly because the Walker is one of my favorites). Modern coins from the various mints, in all their perfection, just do not interest me as much as early coinage, e.g., pre-65 US coins.
