My grandmother gave me 2 paper bills. Both are Federal Reserve Notes, a $1 series 1963, the other a $5 series 1950. Gran had a note attached to both that says "Kennedy". I have no idea what she meant. Can anyone help?

President John F. Kennedy would have been in office when the 1963 $1 note was distributed and being circulated. And, if the $5 is a series 1950C or 1950D it also would have been circulating at the time of JFK's Presidency.
