After having looked for over 2 years at the local coinstar machines I finally found silver!! It was an oldie as well, a 1934 Washington Quarter. I was so excited when I saw it laying there in the reject tray. I snatched it up thinking it was just another circulated ugly modern Washington Quarter until I heard it hit my hand along with the dime that had been accompanying it. The distinct silver ring was unmistakeable. The grin grew on my face like the Grinch who stole Christmas. At long last, free silver in my pocket.
Yeah about two weeks ago I found a silver quarter in a coin star machine. I check them in every store I go into.... I'm over due for a jackpot
All the luck huh? I think I seem to remember something on here about a new raw 1909 VDB Matte Proof Lincoln Cent, or something like that. If you want it to be fair, I'll trade you straight up..
I have found a dateless SL quarter and a 1932 Washer, those are my earliest Coinstar finds. Finding stuff prior to about 1962 is pretty special.
