    Here are the two coins that came back as "cleaned". Only reason I sent the 1880-S in is that I thought it was a MS-60 grade and thus worth sending in.

    Should also be noted though that from how the OP worded the question cleaning and dipping are not the same. I just mention it because he had called dipping cleaning in the question

    I see cleaned coins on Ebay sell for very good prices.

    Of course... much depends on the coin as it is reasonable for some, but in other cases inexperienced buyers simply overpay.
