Possible 1970 small date??

    I remember buying a shake a the fast food place near my house, and I looked at what I got in my change very closely, and I did research on the high and small date for the 1970 penny. I think I might have gotten the all small date 1970. But not sure if it is double die observe as well?

    Looks to be a large date.
    A strait on pic and click full size would help.

    Looking at the pictures up close, it is definitely a large date.

    Large date for sure. A good trick to determine is look at it sideways or upside down. It will then be clear if the bottom of the 7 goes below the bottom of the 0 or not

    No Way that your coin is a Small Date since the Small Date ALWAYS has a faded IBERTY after the L in LIBERTY.

    In the future, instead of folks simply "believing" that they have a certain coin variety, they should pointing out the basis for their belief using the "known" characteristics of the variety against their coin.

    Believing you have something vs actually having something are often extreme opposites in the coin world.
