toned proof 1960 Jefferson

    hey guys just wanted to post a teaser photo of a proof set I just purchased with this nickel in it. this is the sellers photo and is pretty poor, I can't wait to see this beauty in hand next week! IMG_20161111_190136.jpg

    Early 1960's Jefferson's proof nickels often toned these pastels colors. I often refer to them as candy cotton toners. They are some pretty coins.

    Real nice tone on that one....couldn't ask for a more perfect color on the devices
