Hey coiners, I decided to slip-on my sweet stat-holiday avatar!! (always a winner) Yup, it is that time of year again ... => Remembrance Day!! Amazingly/awesomely => my dear ol' Dad is still alive and well at 93 years old!! He was a decorated bomber pilot in WWII, so I want to send out special thanks to any of the other coiners who are vets, or who are kids of vets .... thank you ... I love my Dad (thanks for everything)
As a Viet Nam vet I thank you, this is my wife's favorite picture of me in uniform. It was Basic Training and I wasn't involved in any violence. I was a Combat Medic and I saw enough to last me a lifetime.
@TheMont Thanks for your service from an old army vet. I was a Phoenix Advisor in Vietnam on a three man team down in the Delta IV Corps. I haven't changed much. Me at my niece's wedding last year: And my son in Afghanistan today showing how goofy he looks in his helmet
