I found a 1979 penny without a mint mark or it looks like the mm is in his beard, what do you think? It also looks like his eye got stamped as well and on the reverse is sn odd marking too.Thank you.

Seriously though can you post a pic of reverse.
Sooner or later someone is gonna ask for it anyway.

 

I am new to this so I do not know what PMD stands for. I thank you for responding . As you can see something isn't right in between the columns.

 

Pennies minted in Philadelphia have no mint mark. You have a normal, but damaged Philadelphia penny.
PMD is an acronym for Post Mint Damage.
