My wife just gave this to me. She recently it back in change today. It’s the first 2024 coin we have from change this year.

I don't like the new bust design. It looks like a cheesy token; not Chucky Cheese.

Oh I got some brand new rolls of those a while back. I am done with them.
However I only have seen 4 Jovita Idar coins. One I had to release, the other 3 I kept as I am waiting for an album upgrade to let them go. Some of the women's designs I like. Maya Angelou, Maria Tallchief. But some of them I am sick of. Anna May Wong, Dr. Reverend Paula Murray. Many of the others I am middling. Sally Ride, Otero Warren, Eleanor Roosevelt (The Jovita Idar is pretty cool). Not crazy about the Edith Hawaii coin or the Patsy Takamoto.

As far as I am concerned the US Mint is making ballast and the US Postal Service is making wallpaper. I quit buying any new stuff a few years ago. If I get one in change I will put it aside.

Anything sculpted by Laura Gardnin Fraser is DeVine indeed. My feeling is that it should have won the day when designs were submitted back in '32. I'm glad to see that her work has now been displayed in the modern sense.

Its crazy! 2024 Quarters (except "Hope") are everywhere! However, there are NO 2024 Dimes, Nickles, or Pennies in WMass.
