I picked this up several months ago for a bargain (won't say how much, but far under for the grade alone). NGC doesn't list it as a regisrty coin, still trying to find out more about it and how many exist. TAMS was no help.

Two for one? 173rd Airborne Brigade on one side and 3rd Battlion 319th Artillery Regiment on the other. 173rd Airborne was the first combat unit to arrive in Vietnam. And the only U.S Airborne unit to make a jump. They jumped into Operation Junction City and according to Vietnam historian Shelby Stanton, were accused of grandstanding. The 3rd/319th provided support Artillery to the 173rd. Both units were at Camp Radcliff in An Khe.

There may have been some mocking towards the 173rd's jump at Junction City, in the movie Apocalypse Now. Remember Captain Willard? He was 173rd ABN. There was a scene where they had a beach barbecue. Col. Kilgore yells: "I'm trying to forget about you captain." Then he snickers: "Airborne."

 

This is my favorite and it's actually listed in the Red Book.

The last one is a hops picker token correct?

 

The info link I found and posted with photo says it is a coffee pickers token from Ceylon in 1858.
