On your Lincoln cent, are those die flow lines across the obverse? Great photos.

Thank you! Yes I love how the die falls on some of the Lincolns. Die scratches etc.

I hope all is well with you and the family Pam from the storm over this way was pretty docile had GOM basically up to the seawall which 5/6' surge for the most part.

Glad all is ok! Thank you!!! We lost electricity for a bit but I’ll take that. Our fence has some damage, but that’s ok too. Huge tree fell at the neighbor’s home. Just barely missed the home. Thank goodness it did not hit the home. So huge it would have been devastating.
It could have been much worse as a direct hit. If it were a three or four, ugh!
Not sure of the other in the gulf. Don’t wish it on anyone.
Thanks again! You take care and hope it stays away from all!

My gulf place in the Big Bend area is in for a hell ride I am afraid. We got hit from Idalia last year, another one back in August (debbie), I just hope it's still standing in a couple of days, and we are 15 foot high above grade.:muted:

Depending on location the NHC just put out an unsurvivable catastrophic surge is expected in the big bend starting as early as tonight.Good luck.:(

Yes it’s sad what happened there. We had the one before and although I’m thankful that Helene did not hit Louisiana I’m so sad for the others. New Orleans would have been wiped out.
It is so horrible what Mother Nature can do and I do not wish it on anyone. Very sad. Prayers for all!

It’s very sad and surreal what Mother Nature can do.

We had a 10 foot high storm surge. Went down for damage assessment yesterday and emptied out the freezers. Our living quarters are 15 feet above grade so we were spared. But our sheds and yard are a wreck. Can't do any clean up until power and water are restored. What a mess. But we are fortunate. Our coastal town had millions of dollars in damage, unelevated properties got demolished. The coastal communities to the north of us got pancaked like a bomb exploded them. It's sad.

I am so sorry! I can relate as I was in the 2016 Louisiana flood but what you all went through severe devastation from storm, surge and rain! Mother nation is so cruel! Prayers your way! You will get through but take it day by day. Life is more important. Take care!!
