Morgan Silver Dollar

    I have a 1896 Morgan Silver Dollar. No Mint Mark. It looks very good compared to my 1878 CC Morgan. Just want to know how to tell if it's actually real or not.

    Can you take closer photos? My first impression is that it's been cleaned.

    I can't tell with those photos if it is real, but it does appear like it has been cleaned. Better photos could help confirm both, however.

    I agree looks like it's been cleaned. Nothing indicates fake to me either. As mentioned, if you'd like to be more sure, weigh it.
