It's silly because they are using a practice to avoid final value fees that has not existed in years; they pay a fee on the combined total. All it does is make it look like they are pulling a scam or selling fakes with a photo of a real coin (which is a common occurrence too). I can't even get a clue as to whether the buyer will receive the coin pictured or a genuine one. On top of that.. someone sees the price and buys it really fast, then sees the shipping. The type of people that snipe BIN listings won't pay
This idiot doesn't realize that eBay has recognized this 'fee avoidance' practice for years, and now simply charges their 10% fees on the sale price of the item PLUS the shipping charged. It's because of sellers like this that the policy was changed and hurts the honest sellers who charge a legitimate shipping cost.
"The item in photo is authentic 100%" I won't comment on the presentation or approach, and certainly will not defend it, but I don't see the confusion as to what he's offering. Perhaps it could have been better worded, but it may be a bit of a stretch to assume he's only offering the photo. That's on eBay.... such people need to be held accountable for their actions/decisions. Being allowed to simply not pay and continue using the site normally is unacceptable IMO. Personal responsibility dictates that if one doesn't bother or is too lazy to READ what is in front of them, they should rightfully suffer the consequences. JMHO, of course.
