1882-S Morgan Silver Dollar with punch error

I have an 1882-S Morgan Silver Dollar that looks like it has a "S/O" punch error. Thoughts?

My answer is No. It clearly doesn't exist.

I'd say no. Could you provide a clearer picture of the Mintmark again? Just to see exactly what it is. Might be a damaged mintmark or a die chip possibly.

 

It's filled. Like a chip, these are so tiny.

I believe you're thinking of the O over S.

 

Also punch error is not a correct term.

 

When you are talking about mint marks (in this example O over S) the correct term re-punched mint mark or RPM.
