British West Africa 20/- Banknote

These don't get out much - my interest was due to the fact my Dad worked in Sierra Leone between 1942-56. Would almost certainly recognise it - bit late to ask now though! Better late than never I guess.

Any members got other examples of colonial currency?

This is the only colonial currency I have:

 

-I'm a big fan of colonial currency but I just don't buy that much of it (partly b/c I don't see much & partly b/c its beyond my budget). (Nice BWA 20 Bob BTW @mikebell!)

I used to own this 50 Francs from Rwanda-Burundi:


This issue lasted for 2 years!

 

Finally got the small brother to the above. Quite a bit scarcer, no more pricey.
