I've had very good luck finding items I want from Rich Uhrich.
At the Baltimore Whitman show yesterday I found two more Capped Bust quarters for my die variety set.
If all goes well this brings me up to 29 out of 36 of the Reduced Size set (1831-1838).
As I've said before it's HIGHLY unlikely I'll complete the set.
One of the varieties is an R-8 with only 2 or 3 known.

Rich is also the one who helped me complete my "arrows at date" Liberty Seated set.
I got most of the 1873 & 1874 CC varieties from him when I couldn't find them elsewhere.

He's on a short list of dealers I'll go to first with my wantlist in hand.

This is what makes the coin shows truely shine...I also went yesterday early with a long line at 10am...I was not, however, impressed with many of the prices.

Jerry The over head to set up at the Baltimore Show is 10 to 20 times the cost to set up at a local shows like we sometimes meet up at. And I'm sure the closer to the front door, or a key location like a corner on a main companion way that runs across the entire show would also be at a premium. That said the dealers are not going to throw you a bone.

Yeah, I took that into consideration...but on a few specific coins (1934 S Walker) they were not even close. I do enjoy the local venues better...saw Ralph there.

MFD told me it's a buyers' market right now.
    Supply high; demand low.

The list of dealers who do Seated and Bust issues as well as he does is short indeed. I've used his website many times as a research reference.

I was at a show sometime back and looking at his Bust half dollars. Really nice guy. I had a hard time figuring out what to look at first.

I agree heartily, and will speak very highly of Richard Uhrich.

He was very helpful in helping me find some scarce dimes that I was looking for.

I've never bought a coin from Rich, mostly because he doesn't carry much of what I collect. However, I have bought books from him and found him helpful and knowledgeable.

Rich is a good friend and a fellow central Pennsylvanian. Until our governor's plans scared Rich off to Fla.
