    I used to stamp my www.wheresGeorge.com bills with a Bart Simpson rubber stamp in purple ink to let others know that I have had that bill. I have not see 1 in a very long time.

    there are many currency collectors that probably want to kill me for doing that ? the ones I do it to are in so-so condition anyhow and do not have stars or fancy serial numbers on them.

    Horses being the second most popular form of transport in the 19th century, after walking of course - they were oft featured on banknotes like this one from Argentina:

    Whilst the other vignettes of the lady and the gentleman on the note are stock images also used on many other N. American and S. American notes printed by ABNCo, the center vignette is unique to this note - a slaughterhouse:

    Dogs, horses and gauchos with dead bovines and vultures make for a wee bit of a macabre setting for a banknote.
