Wow I posted before I read all the other post. I can't believe they gave that an AU anything. I have several 65's and this looks as good as any. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
One positive thing out of this mess, your opinions have encouraged and reinforced my grading (or lack of grading) skills. @Evan8 - You and I should show up together with slabs in hand at the next show where NGC and ANACS are attending. Although, I wouldn't want anyone to suggest yours should be downgraded. http://www.pcgs.com/photograde/#/Buffalo/Grades http://coinauctionshelp.com/How_To_Grade_Buffalo_Nickels.html#.WB30n9yNOhk
I can,t believe that,s a AU coin...By the way, I recently got back from ANACS a group of various coins which I honestly thought were graded two or three grades too low. Has this happened to anyone else? In the past they usually came back graded too high...I,m getting confused...must be old age setting in.
Not that it's a high end coin. Just wondering if it was or a key date, would it have come back higher!
That would still seem to me to be a misrepresentation for collectors with a limited budget who deserve the same treatment as others. Maybe ANACS is trying to even out all the overgraded coins (some of which I own) with undergraded ones. None of this really makes sense to me. the lack of honesty and truth is why I stopped collecting for a number of years in the 70,s.
